Job description

The Forest Survey of India (FSI) is responsible for forest resource assessment of the country on regular basis. It works under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change of Government of India. Applications through online mode are invited by the FSI for recruitment to 44 posts of Technical Associates for the recruitment year 2021. Total vacancies notified by the FSI in this recruitment advertisement are 44. These vacancies are available across India. Candidates having B.E. / B.Tech / MA / MSc / MCA / Other Relevant Academic Degree Can Apply Online for these posts.

Total vacancies are 44, State / UT and Place of posting wise vacancies are as under –

Salary / Pay Scale: 

Rs. 31,000/- + HRA Per Month

Educational Qualification:

 PG Degree in Any Subject / MA Geography / Master of Computer Applications (MCA) M.Sc (CS / IT), B.Tech in (Computer Science / Information Technology)

Experience (If Any): 

6 Months relevant experience is required.

Age Limit: 

The upper age limit is 30 years as on 01st April 2021. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PH.

Selection Process:

 Selection of candidates will be through Written Exam and Hands On test on the use of Remote Sensing and GIS software.
