Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is a Schedule – A Miniratna Public Sector Company of Government of India. It is engaged in the area of mining, beneficiation, smelting, refining and production of finished Copper products. The company has annual turnover of more than Rs. 800 Crore. Applications from eligible candidates are invited by the HCL for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Foreman (Mining) and Mining Mate Grade – I. These vacancies are available at HCL’s Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP) which is located in Balaghat District of Madhya Pradesh. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, educational qualification, age limit etc. for this recruitment are provided below.

Total Vacancy: Total vacancies are 26. Details of post wise & category wise vacancies are provided below –

Salary / Pay Scale: Post wise salary details are as under –

• Assistant Foreman (Mining) (T-10): Rs.18480 – 3% – 45400/-
• Mining Mate Grade-I (T-08): Rs.18280 – 3% – 38670/-

Educational Qualification & Experience: 

Details of Post wise educational qualification & experience requirements are provided below

• Assistant Foreman (Mining) (T-10): Diploma in Mining Engineering with 3 years relevant experience or Matric with 6 years relevant experience and a Valid Mines Foreman Certificate of Competency for metalliferous mines (unrestricted) and Valid First Aid certificate
• Mining Mate Grade-I (T-08): Diploma in Mining Engineering with 3 years relevant experience or Matric with 6 years relevant experience and a Valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency for metalliferous mines (unrestricted) and Valid First Aid certificate

Age Limit: 

35 years, relaxable as per GoI Rules.

Selection Process: 

Mode of selection shall be through written test followed by Trade Test. Written Test shall be held in the form of multiple choice questions. Successful candidates in written test shall further go for Trade Test
