Job description

 Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection has released the official notification for Officer Grade and Clerical Posts on its official website @ibps.in on 07th June 2021. The online registration will be active from 08th June 2021 to 28th June 2021. IBPS has again revised the vacancies to 12,097 for various posts and released the final notification on 22nd June 2021. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS conducts the recruitment in Regional Rural Banks (RRB’s) through a national level exam annually. The IBPS conducts the recruitment  for the following Group A and B posts:

IBPS RRB 2021 Vacancy

The number of vacancies has been again revised to 12,097 as per the final notification released on 22nd June 2021. Previously 11,884 vacancies were announced on 18th June 2021, 10,676 vacancies were announced for various Officer Scale and Office Assistant Posts in the detailed notification of IBPS RRB 2021 released on 07th June 2021 and revised to 11,753 as on 10th June 2021.  Look at the revised category-wise and post-wise vacancies from the below table.

IBPS RRB 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have to complete the following eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS RRB 2021. The eligibility includes education qualification, age limit, and experience, which has been detailed here.

IBPS RRB Age Limit (as on 01st June 2021)

• For Officer Scale- III- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years.
• For Officer Scale-II- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 32 years.
• For Officer Scale- I- Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years.
• For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years.

Age-wise Relaxation For IBPS RRB 2021

IBPS RRB Educational Qualification & Experience (as on 28th June 2021)

The candidates should hold the minimum required qualification as mentioned in the below table from a recognised University/Board and the results should be declared on or before 28th June 2021. Check the academic qualification and experience required to apply for the posts released by Regional Rural Banks in India from the below table.

Candidates having a degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy will be given preference.	2 years as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (IT)	Degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 50% marks Certification in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc will be given preference.	1 Year
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (CA)	Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.	1 Year
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (LA)	Degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks.	2 years as an advocate OR should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Treasury Manager)	Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR MBA in Finance.	1 Year
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Marketing Officer)	MBA in Marketing.	1 Year
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Agriculture Officer)	Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture with a minimum of 50% marks.	2 Years
Officer Scale-III	Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates with a Degree/Diploma in Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy will be given preference.	5 years as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution

IBPS RRB Selection Process

• For IBPS RRB Clerk, there will be two stages of Exam: || Prelims | Main ||
• For IBPS PO or Officer Scale I, there will be three stages of the Exam:

• ForIBPS Officer Grade-II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III, there will be a single-window exam:
  || IBPS Officer Grade II Exam| Interview ||

The candidates will have to clear each stage of the exam for successful selection for each post.
