Job description

National Institute of Traditional Medicine (NITM) has announced The selection of the eligible candidates will be done through a walk-in interview round carried by the officials on its official website on 06th May 2021 @main.icmr.nic.in. A total of 04 vacancies has been announced for Contract Scientific Support – I, Information Technology Support, Administrative Support. The candidates will be selected for temporary contract positions for COVID-19 Testing Lab. for a period up to 31st July 2021. The eligible candidates can appear for the walk-in interview that has been scheduled for 11th May 2021.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Contract Scientific Support – I:

  • 1st class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and equivalent) from a recognized university with two years of work experience OR
  • 2nd Class Postgraduate Degree in above subjects with Ph.D. in the relevant subject.

Contract Information Technology Support:

  • Intermediate OR 12th pass. A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.

Contract Administrative Support – I:

  • Intermediate OR 12th pass. Typing Speed of 35 W.P.M in English or 10500 KDPH in English.

Contract Administrative Support – IV:

  • High School (SSC / 10th ) or equivalent.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the post is based on Walk-in-Interview/ personal discussion etc. Candidate will be allowed for the personal interview after screening of eligibility and document verification. Candidates, who will be interviewed online, if they are selected, will have to produce original documents of their Qualification, Age & Experience before joining. If they are not found entitled, their selection will be cancelled immediately. Only short-listed candidates will be called for online Interview and video conference link will be shared.
