Candidates desirous to join as Assistant professor through JPSC Recruitment must possess following

1. Must be a Post-Graduate in the concerned discipline, having secured 55% marks as the overall record.
2. Must have passed NET or any equivalent accredited by UGC.
3. PhD accepted from a regular mode only.
Pay Scale
Selected Professors will be appointed on a monthly stipend of Rs.15,600 to Rs.39,100/- + Rs.6,000/- GP Other

Selection Process for Jharkhand JPSC Assistant Professor Jobs
Applicants who have successfully submitted their candidature for Assistant Professor Post within the stipulated date will be assessed on the basis of performance/mars obtained in the highest qualifying degree followed by Interview of the short-listed candidates. Interview carries 15 marks and Academic qualifications, 85 marks.

For General/OBC Category candidates, application fee is Rs 600/-
For Reserved Category (SC/ST/PWD/Ex-serviceman) candidates, Rs 150/-

Probationary period
Candidates selected will serve as Assistant professor to desired department for a period of one year
