Maharashtra Postal Circle, India Posts, has released an official notification for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) in Maharashtra on 27th April 2021. The online applications will be active till 26th May 2021 on the official website indiapost.gov.in or appost.in/gdsonline. A total of 2428 vacancies have been announced for various districts of Maharashtra. The Gramin Dav Sevaks will be recruited as Branch Post Master, Assistant Branch Post Master and Dak Sevaks. The following is the eligibility criteria for GDS in Maharashtra Postal Circle:

The selection will be made as per the automatically generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted applications. No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in the 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection.
