NCCR Project Scientist, SRF, Field Assistant Notification Info

Project Scientist-III: 3 Posts

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/ Marine Science / Marine Biology or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. Minimum 7 years experience in research or teaching in the relevant field or collection of water, sediment, marine litter and microplastics and biological samples from the coastal and offshore environment. Ph.D. in biological or environmental science or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute.
• Salary Details: Rs. 78000/- per month
• Age Limit: 45 years as on 1st July 2021

Project Scientist-II: 35 Posts

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Geology / Applied Geology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Studies/Ocean science & Technology or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. Minimum three years research experience in interpretation of coastal geomorphology, beach profiles, shoreline change studies and mapping using GIS / Remote sensing Tools. Ph.D. in Geology / Applied Geology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Studies or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute. Experience in field measurements for coastal processes, coastal geomorphology and sedimentology.
• Salary Details: Rs. 67000/- per month
• Age Limit: 40 years as on 1st July 2021

Project Scientist-II: 29 Posts

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. Master’s Degree in Geology / Applied Geology/Marine Sciences / Marine Studies or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks.
• Salary Details: Rs. 56000/- per month
• Age Limit: 35 years as on 1st July 2021

Senior Research Fellow: 4 Posts

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Marine Science/Marine Chemistry/Chemical Oceanography / Analytical Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade. NET/CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification with two years of research experience in the analysis of chemical oceanographic parameters.
• Salary Details: Rs. 35000/- per month
• Age Limit: 32 years as on 1st July 2021

Field Assistant: 9 Posts

• Qualification: Degree in science or diploma in engineering or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute. Must have knowledge of swimming and skin diving. Working experience in Scientific Departments/ Laboratory/universities in the field of marine sciences.
• Salary Details: Rs. 20000/- per month
• Age Limit: 50 years as on 1st July 2021
