Job description

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications for 351 vacancies to the posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (VAS), Class – II (Group – B) of Odisha Veterinary Service under Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department on its official website @opsc.gov.in against Advt No. 04 of 2021-22 according to the official notification released on 08th June 2021. OPSC VAS Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the posts of VAS a candidate must go through the eligibility conditions and make sure he/she fulfils them with respect to Educational Qualification, Experience as well as age limit. Given below:

Minimum Qualification

A Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science or its equivalent from any recognised University in India or abroad and have registered himself/herself under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioner Act, 1970.

Age Limit

A candidate willing to apply for the post of OPSC VAS should not exceed the age limit of the following years as per their category:

Candidates Age Should be 21 to 32 Yrs as on 01.01.2022

For SEBC/SC/ST/Women/ Ex-Servicemen – Age Relaxation will be for 05 Yrs in case of  SEBC/SC/ST/Women/ Ex-Servicemen Candidates.

For PwD – Age Relaxation will be for 10 Yrs in the case of permanent disability of 40% or more.
